Tracy L. Schimelfenig


Tracy L. Schimelfenig advocates for small to medium sized businesses and individuals in a wide range of disputes and litigation matters in state and federal court. She has handled a variety of complex disputes, including, contracts, partnerships, intellectual property, fraud, real estate and trusts and estate actions.  Ms. Schimelfenig has litigated claims involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, interference with business advantage, trademark and copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, defamation, and eminent domain.

 Ms. Schimelfenig has broad experience in bankruptcy and insolvency matters, representing secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, creditors’ committees, bankruptcy trustees, receivers, and specially engaged professionals.

Ms. Schimelfenig advocates for her clients in settlement negotiations, mediation, at trial, and on appeal.
